As the information regarding COVID19 changes, decisions regarding place of service for sessions will remain fluid.

Currently, Starkville Counseling Associates is offering both in-person & telehealth sessions.


Telehealth Sessions

For those participating in telehealth sessions, either your counselor or our office manager, Julie, will direct you as to how to connect online for secure, encrypted video chat sessions. If you prefer a voice phone session, please let us know.

In-person sessions

We are no longer requiring masks to be worn in our wait area. Please know that counselors will honor all who wish to continue to mask in session by wearing masks also.

If you are uncomfortable remaining in the wait area without a mask, you may wait in your vehicle. Text your counselor or Julie, our office manager, through the iPlum app at 601-826-6223, to let us know you are here. We will make sure your counselor alerts you when they are ready to bring you directly into the therapy room.

If you are positive for COVID, please cancel your face to face session &/or request a virtual session.

If you have been exposed to COVID19 or are feeling any of the following symptoms, we ask that YOU WEAR A MASK in the wait room & with your counselor for the protection of all:

  • Cough
  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Runny nose/congestion
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Sore throat
  • Unusual headache
  • Or any sense of feeling unwell
