Our office is operating in accordance with our COVID-19 Response Plan

As the information regarding COVID19 changes, decisions regarding place of service for sessions will remain fluid.

Currently, Starkville Counseling Associates is offering primarily telehealth sessions either by voice phone or video chat.

Pre-Screening for in-person sessions

For those individuals who meet our criteria for in person sessions we ask that you wear a mask and pre-screen yourself for the following symptoms identified by the CDC:

  • cough
  • fever
  • chills
  • muscle pain
  • shortness of breath
  • difficulty breathing
  • sore throat
  • new loss of taste or smell

Please call or text to cancel your face to face session if you are experiencing any of these symptoms or if you know you have been in recent contact with someone who is strongly suspected or confirmed of having COVID19.

If your physical state allows, we will be happy to shift your face to face session to a telehealth session. Please continue to give your counselor 24-hour notice, where possible, regarding cancellations.

We have eliminated our wait room.

If you are coming to the building for an appointment, please remain in your car and text your counselor to alert them of your arrival. They will come to the front door and let you in.

Billing and Payments

We are set up for primarily on-line payments. You may choose our automatic billing option or a link for payment will be sent following each session. When agreed on with our office manager and your counselor, we also receive checks via mail at 205 S. Lafayette St. Starkville, MS 39759.
